Instructions
In this lab, you will use the Eating Healthier Lab spreadsheet tracker to create a nutrient breakdown of foods. The purpose of the Eating Healthier I lab assignment is to understand how the foods you are currently eating compare to the MyPlate recommendations and to analyze how changes to your diet may affect your MyPlate recommended levels of intake. In the Eating Healthier I lab, you will complete one full day’s worth of intake.
The purpose of the Eating Healthier Lab II assignment is to understand how processing affects the nutrient content of foods and to compare the nutrient content of processed foods to similar whole, intact foods. In the Eating Healthier II lab, you will attempt to create a healthier version of a fast-food meal.

Submission and Assessment Guidelines
The activity should follow APA (7th ed.) format. Within the Eating Healthier Lab excel spreadsheet, you are required to complete a written analysis of the changes made between your recipe and the fast-food item. Input your written analysis within the excel spreadsheet for Part 1: Question #4 and Part 2: Question #6.

This activity is worth 25 points toward your final grade (12.5 points per lab).
